We have spent several weeks looking for living room furniture at several different stores. We returned to Ashley because of the great selection and our sales lady Debbie. She took the time to show us many different options and never was she in a rush. In the end we found what we wanted and for the price we could afford. Thank you to Debbie for a great buying experience.
The only reason for giving 1 star is because the sales person we worked with could not have been better. Everything else has been a complete nightmare. Our furniture was paid in full 2 months prior to delivery date due to waiting for our new construction home to be complete. 24 hours prior to delivery date, I was told that the furniture had been discontinued and I have to pick a different set.. which was then delivered more than a week later than the original delivery date. I reached out to AshleyHelp on social media and called the store directly with my concerns and no one every got back to me or returned my call. We went to the store in person and the General Manager still would not see us and had the sales rep deal with everything directly. We then had our dining room table delivered and the leaf to the table was built incorrectly and did not fit our table. They had to do a full exchange. I confirmed our delivery time for the exchange in advance, and then got a phone call 24hours prior pushing my time back 3 hours. When our furniture didn't show up, I had to call them only to find out that they pushed our time back again... but no one bothered to call and tell us. Ashley needs to completely change their processes and customer service for me to make another purchase in the future.
Bought Sofa and love seat and Bedroom set. When sofa arrived it was damaged and had to be returned. They did replace it quickly, however, the dresser was missing the mirror brackets , was told they would ship them out asap. 2 and a half weeks later, no support Brackets. If you buy from them, make sure to inspect EVERYTHING immediately. If something is missing or broke, send it back and do not accept as they will take forever to fix in your home.
Do not bother going here unless you can work with Alton. Ashley Furniture store has a good selection but A LOT of issues when it comes to fulfilling orders and after multiple hours of calls and emails with numerous people at corporate and the store Alton was the only one willing to help. My issue starter after purchasing a dining room table which we were told would absolutely 100% be delivered by 11/1 we have been lied to and found out the order will not be delivered in full until mid December. I was also not made aware of this until I reached out to ask where the piece of my table is - which is the piece needed to even put the table together so it can't be assembled without it.
Trust me, listen to the other reviews and know what you are getting into and if you're willing to deal with the hassle. The only reason for my three stars is the helpful sales person we worked with as mentioned above and the good selection at the store.
Ask for DAWN! Ashley Furniture was having some great Labor Day sales and my mother was in need of some new living room furniture so we popped in just to check things out. As we were checking out couches, we were fortunate to meet Dawn, who gives exceptional customer service. Dawn was extremely helpful in answering all questions and making suggestions. She was patient while she showed us several floor models and understood the importance of finding just the right furniture for my mother. Although the store was extremely busy, she acted like we were her only potential customers, giving us her individualized attention.
When you go to Ashley furniture in Pineville, I highly recommend that you ask for Dawn as she is genuine, knowledgeable, and is generous with her time and attention.
