I recently moved to the area and went into the Pineville store today, after visiting a couple other local furniture stores. I was greeted a couple minutes after entering by a pleasant sales woman who asked if she could help.
It was one of those times when what you purchased just wasn't holding up. The fabric on the sofa seemed to have a mind of it's own and was determined to work its way slowly away from where it should be. The cushions twisted as the fabric twisted and the arms did the same. I was frustrated and went through the channels of Customer Care for the region and Corporate only to be told that they would 'repair' the sofa. Repairing wasn't going to permanently fix the quality of the fabric and stuffing inside the sofa..........the intrinsic design was flawed. They would not help and then I went into the store spoke with the manager, David Lecher, and my concerns were addressed. I might add that he was the only La-z-Boy person that listened. The sofa was replaced and the problem solved. As a post note when the flawed sofa was picked up even the delivery people were shocked at its condition. David Lecher listened and his store cares about their customers. Thank you for great customer service. This gets a 4 star only because of the regional Customer Care, a 5 star for the Pineville store.
Went in with no idea of what I wanted to buy a couch, love seat or chair. Fortunately Deborah one of their sales people set and listen to me for 30 to 40 minutes helping me decide which would be best from my needs. After choosing which would be best it was a fast and easy ordering system with options to finance with 0% or to pay cash. Deborah also gave me the solution I needed to take care of my leather purchase for an entire year. Upon writing up the purchase agreement she told me that I could have delivery within 3 days. This is a fantastic place to buy furniture for your home or office I would highly suggest them to anybody that has the need.
We were pleasantly greeted by Julie Swanson and she was terrific! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and really worked hard to help us get to the bottom of what we were looking for in our living room. Once we had a few ideas, she recommended that we come back with our room dimensions and set a time to look at fabric. On our second appointment, she easily stepped us through the options as we picked fabric styles and chairs. Two hours later, we left with our furniture on order and a drawing of where to place each piece once it arrives. I can't say enough good things about this location and our experience with Julie. She is warm, very easy to work with, patient and really guides the process in a very kind and professional manner. Thank you Julie for everything!
Overall I had a great experience with the staff here and that makes me want to do business with them again. Looking forward to getting my new living room set in my new home!
I told her that I was looking to buy new living room furniture and told her some basics about what I was looking for. As she began showing me different pieces she sought my feedback and refined what she showed me accordingly. Jolene then spent the next 2+ hours working with me to show me various pieces and coordinating a living room ensemble that met my preferences and needs. Additional store employees also graciously helped with suggestions as we put the pieces together.
We had a fantastic experience at the Pineville, NC location! I can't say enough great things about Dawn Shaffer who helped us pick out our huge sectional. Even after I went home and changed my mind, she let me come back in the next morning and pick a new fabric and pillows. This time, I had pictures and she put together the fabric and pillows perfectly! Never pushy, personable, and professional, I would recommend Dawn if you want top notch customer service.
